Site of the "Maison de Jonathan" Association in St-Etienne : reception and accommodation center for the relatives of children and adults hospitalized in St-Etienne and its suburbs.

"La Maison de Jonathan", authorized by the "1901 Law", recognized as a registered charity in 2005, was created on December 1st 1999 on the initiative of the Paediatrics Department of St-Etienne Hospital.
The Home opened its doors on October 1st 2002.

The construction was funded by the money left over by a national subscription given in aid to a seriously ill child called Jonathan and by St-Marcellin (his birthplace) Social Action Committee.
Various partners joined the enterprise : the "Hopitaux de Paris Hopitaux de France", called the "Fondation Pièces jaunes", the St-Etienne Hospital University Center, the Loire "Conseil Général", the St-Etienne Métropole Councils, the "Forez Sud" municipalities, other organizations and private businesses and numerous anonymous donors.

An extension project is currently being thought out and should soon be released.
